This type of container crane can be seen operating in ports all over the world. This particular variety is Post Panamax, meaning that they are large enough to unload containers from ships that are too huge to travel through the Panama Canal. These models make a splended addition to a bustling port diorama and give a good impression of what enormous structures these cranes are. Even in 1:1250 they dominate the model skyline! In each set comes two cranes in either blue, yellow or grey. One crane has its boom extended while the other has its boom lifted while not in use.
